6 / 12 V
The ARTIC 4000 (4 A) is specically designed to charge 6 and 12 V batteries, such as cars,
motorbikes, jet-skis or vintage cars. It provides fully automatic charging that is twice as fast as a
traditional charger and is equipped with microprocessor technology. The battery can be left
to charge vehicles completely autonomously.
• Designed to charge 6 V and 12 V batteries:
- 6 V: 8 - 70 Ah or for maintenance charging up to 130 Ah.
- 12 V: 2 - 70 Ah or for maintenance charging up to 130 Ah.
• 4 separate charging modes for maximum versatility:
- SLOW : designed to safely charge small batteries (< 15 Ah).
- FAST : ideal for most 12 V batteries.
- COLD : specialist charging mode designed for cold weather
conditions (less than 5°C) and for Start & Stop batteries (EFB & AGM).
- 6 V : ideal for vintage vehicles with 6 V batteries (cars/motorbikes).
• Optimised maintenance charging, the charger can remain permanently
connected, for example, whilst a vehicle is not used over the winter. The ‘Auto
Restart’ function is in case of a power cut, the charger saves the selected settings
and restarts automatically.
IDEAL FOR CARS
• The vehicle’s on-board electronics are protected: protected against short
circuit, polarity reversal and overcharging as well as a spark prevention system.
• Automatic stand-by mode if the battery becomes disconnected.
• Simplied interface to prevent user errors.
