Firmware Update
Background
The PSW firmware can be upgraded using the
USB A port on the front panel.
Note
 Ensure the load is not connected.
 Ensure the output is off.
1. Insert a USB Flash Drive into the USB port on
front panel of the PSW.
 The USB drive should include the gw_psx
and tcmd.tst files in the root directory
(USB\:).
 For units with firmware version V 1.12 or
below, a folder named “gw” must be created
(\gw) and the gw_psx file should be copied
to both the root directory and to the “gw”
folder before proceeding with the firmware
update procedure.
 For firmware versions after V1.12, only the
root directory needs to contain the gw_psx
file.
2. Press the Function key. The
function key will light up.
