ADVANCED CONFIGURATION

To move the XY waveform position, use the

vertical position knob: Channel 1 knob moves the

XY waveform horizontally and Channel 2 knob

moves the XY waveform vertically. Similarly, the

X2 and Y2 axis can be positioned using the channel

3 and channel 4 vertical position knobs.

The horizontal position knob and horizontal Scale

knob can still be used under the XY mode.

Turn Off XY Mode

To turn off XY mode, choose OFF (YT)

mode.

Set the Record Length

Background

The number of samples that can be stored is set by

the record length. Record length is important in an

oscilloscope as it allows longer waveforms to be

recorded.

The maximum record length for the MSO-

2000E/2000EA depends on operating mode. The

table below describes the record lengths that are

available for each mode.
