CAUTION
 Make sure the BNC input voltage does not
exceed 300Vrms.
 Never connect a hazardous live voltage to the
ground side of the BNC connectors. It might
lead to fire and electric shock.
 Do not place any heavy object on the MSO-
2000E/2000EA.
 Avoid severe impact or rough handling that
leads to damaging the MSO-2000E/2000EA.
 Do not discharge static electricity to the MSO-
2000E/2000EA.
 Use only mating connectors, not bare wires, for
the terminals.
 Do not block the cooling fan opening.
 Do not perform measurement at a power source
or building installation (Note below).
 Do not disassemble the MSO-2000E/2000EA
unless you are qualified.
Note
(Measurement categories) EN 61010-1:2010 specifies the
measurement categories and their requirements as follows. The
MSO-2000E/2000EA falls under category I.
 Measurement category IV is for measurements performed at the
source of low-voltage installation.
 Measurement category III is for measurements performed in the
building installation.
 Measurement category II is for measurements performed on
circuits directly connected to the low voltage installation.
 Measurement category I is for measurement performed on
circuits not directly connected to Mains.
