Selecting Sweep Mode

The Sweep button is used to output a sweep. If no

settings have been configured, the default settings

for output amplitude, offset and frequency are

used.

Setting Start and Stop Frequency

The start and stop frequencies define the upper and lower sweep

limits. The function generator will sweep from the start through to

the stop frequency and cycle back to the start frequency. The sweep

is phase continuous over the full range sweep range (100μHz-

80MHz: AFG-3081/50MHz: AFG-3051).

Panel Operation

1. Press the SWEEP key.

2. To select the start or stop

frequency, press F3 (Start)

or F4 (Stop).

3. The Start or Stop parameter will become

highlighted in the waveform display area.
