SOURce[1]:FM:STATe
Source Specific
Command
Description
Sets or disables FM modulation. By default FM
modulation is disabled. FM modulation must be
enabled before setting other parameters.
Note
Burst or sweep mode will be disabled if FM
modulation is enabled. As only one modulation is
allowed at any one time, other modulation modes
will be disabled when FM modulation is enabled.
Syntax SOUR[1]:FM:STATe {OFF|ON}
Example SOUR1:FM:STAT ON
Enables FM modulation.
Query Syntax SOURce[1]:FM:STATe?
Return Parameter
0 Disabled (OFF)
1 Enabled (ON)
Example SOUR1:FM:STAT?

FM modulation mode is currently enabled.

Source Specific
Command
Description
Sets or queries the modulation source as internal
or external. Internal is the default modulation
source.
Note
If an external modulation source is selected,
modulation depth is limited to ± 5V from the MOD
INPUT terminal on the rear panel. For example, if
modulation depth is set to 100%, then the
maximum amplitude is +5V, and the minimum
amplitude is -5V.
