Frequency Counter Commands
COUNter:GATe
Set
Query
Description
Sets or queries the gate time for the frequency
counter function.
Note
The counter function is only applicable for the
AFG-21XX models.
Syntax
COUNter:GATe <seconds>
Parameter
<seconds>
0.01S, 0.1S, 1S, 10S
Example
COUN:GAT 10S
Sets the gate time to 10 seconds.
Query Syntax
COUNter:GATe?
Return Parameter
<NR3>
Returns the gate time in seconds.
Query Example
COUN:GAT?
>1.000E-02
The gate time is current set to 0.01 second.
COUNter:STATe

Description
Turns the frequency counter on/off.
Syntax
COUNter:STATe [ON/OFF]
Note
The counter function is only applicable for the
AFG-21XX models.
Parameter
ON
Turns the counter function on.
OFF
Turns the counter function off.
Example
COUN:STAT ON
Turns the frequency counter on.
