13.1.1 Main Window
After starting the software the main window is displayed on the screen. The window is subdivided into a
menu bar, a control panel with Explorer‐style function buttons, a tabular list of the loggers of the actual
projectandastatuspanelatthebottomofthewindow.Thenameoftheact
ualselectedprojectisdisplayed
togetherwiththeprogramname(ZONESCAN800)inthewindowtitle.
Closingthemainwindowexitstheprogram.
13.1.2 Function buttons
Thefunctionbuttons arearrangedonsub‐panelsthatcan beeasily rearrangedandeven bedetachedfrom
themainwindowbygrabbingtheleftsidewiththetwoverticallinesanddraggingthemtothedesirednew
position.Ashortdescriptionofthefunctionofeachbuttonisdisplayedbymovingth
emousecursoroverthe
button(withoutpressingthebutton)andwaitingashorttime.Thebuttonsprovidethefollowingfunctions:
‐Synchronizeallloggers:Initiatesthesynchronizationprocessthattransfersdatafromandtotheloggers
‐Logger state:Opensthe LoggerStatewindow thatdisplays settingsand dataof the actualselectedlogger
(highlightedentryintheloggerlistofthemainwindow).Loggerstateonlycanbedisplayedwhenthelogger
can be re
ached by radio transmission. It also allows remote listening of the sound signal recorded by the
logger
