1. Introduction
WelcometotheZONESCAN800System.
ZONESCAN 800 is a professional, easytouse analysis and documentation tool for detecting leaks in
drinkingwaterdistributions.Itconsistsofsmall,intelligentunits(loggers)thataredeployedthroughout
thedistributionnetworkforcollectinganalysisdataan
dacommunicationunitforinteractivecontrolling
and transferring the data to a mobile computer (laptop). The components provide powerful radio
transmissionabilitiesinordertoallowconvenientoperationfrominsideavehicle.Thesystemcomprises
thefollowingfunctions:

The Windows software can be operated in two modes: Wizard assisted mode whi

initializationwindow.
