Testcorrelation
Function for a quick check whether the selected combination of loggers produces a reasonable correlation
(i.e.probableleak)ornot.Pipedatadoesnotneedtobeentered(thecorrelationwillbecalculatedonbase
ofa pipe length of 600 manda sound velocity of 1
000 m/s). Correlationqualitywill be calculated andwill
allowquickassessmentwhetheraleakisprobable.
Note: This function is not suitable to obtain leak distances. For calculating a correct correlation result
(distancetoleak)itisnecessarytoentercorrectpipedataandtoswitchoffthetestcor
relationfunction.
Executealltestcorrelations(mainmenuitem):
Function for testing all combinations of loggers whether there are probable leaks or not. A window will
appearcontainingthetestresults.Itispossibletoadjustthetest pipelength andsoundvelocity,aswellas
thequalitylimitvalue.
AfterpressingtheStartbutton,correlationqualitywillbecalcula
tedforeachpossiblecombinationofloggers
(value0to100%),incasethereareappropriatesoundrecordings.Onlytestcorrelationswithaqualityvalue
exceedingthelimitvaluewillbelistedintheresultlist(correlationquality,peakmaximumvalue,distanceto
the middle, logger numbers, date and time of so
und recording). Results may be sorted by column (mouse
clickoncolumnheader).Theyalsomaybeexportedorprinted.Executionofthisfunctionmaytakeupsome
considerableamountoftime,dependingonthenumberofloggersinthemainwindow'slist.
