6.4 Vertical Cuts at an Angle

Loosening the clamping handle
(Fig. 2/Pos. 21) it is possible to
turn the blade and the driving
set at any position at any angle
from -1.5° to 46,5°. (Fig. 2/Pos.
7)
See to the splitting wedge (Fig.
2/Pos. 22) to match the blade.
Retighten the clamping handle
(Fig. 2/Pos. 21).
6.5 Splitting Wedge Setup and Covered Cuts

Splitting Wedge Set Up
Remove the blade protection
Remove the table inset
Turn the saw to 45°.
Loosen the screw on the case
plate and remove the plate from
the case.
Loosen 2 socket screws and
set the splitting wedge at a
distance of 3-5 mm from the
blade.
Retighten the screws and
reinstall the table inset and the
blade protection.
Covered Cuts
Set the cutting depth on
handwheel (Fig. 2/Pos. 7).
Remove the blade protection
(Fig. 2/Pos.15).
Remove the table backup.
Release splitting wedge (Fig.
2/Pos. 22) and shift it lower so
that the splitting wedge upper
edge (Fig. 2/Pos. 22) 2 mm is
below the saw tooth tip. Watch
out for the parallel distance 3-5
mm from the blade.
Remount the wedge and the
table backup.
