General Safety Instructions
Before you work with the product, please read the following
safety instructions and the operating manual carefully
through. If you hand over this product to other people,
please provide them also with the operating manual. Keep
the operating manual always safe!
Packing: Your product is located in a packing for the
protection against transport damage. Packings are raw
material and therefore can be recycled or be restored into
the raw material cycle.
Please read the user manual carefully through and follow
the instructions there. Familiarize yourself with the product,
the proper use as well as the safety instructions on the basis
of the user manual. Please keep these instructions safe for
future reference.
1. Please read thoroughly the Operating Instruction before
putting the laminate cutter into operation. All the
operating staff must be informed of safety regulations
concerning the appliance use.
2. Do not use the laminate cutter if you are tired, impaired,
intoxicated or have consumed drugs.
3. Always wear safety goggles, safety gloves and safety
shoes.
4. Make sure you can move your hands freely on the
device, so you can work safely.
5. Keep your workplace clean and tidy at all times and
ensure proper lighting. Chaos and work in dark can
cause injuries.
6. Secure the rotating lever when not using the device or
while transporting it.
7. Always keep your hands out of reach of the cutting area.
It could lead to serious injuries or amputation of limbs.
Behavior in case of emergency
Perform necessary first aid measures according to the injury
and call for medical attendance as soon as possible.
Prevent the injured against any further injuries and calm him
down.
Disposal
The hints over disposal result from the pictograms which are
applied on the product and the packing. A description of each
pictogram can be found in the chapter “markings on the
product“.
Requirements for the operator
The operator should have read the operating manual carefully
before using the product.
Qualification
Besides a detailed training through a skilled staff, no special
qualification for the use of the product is necessary.
Minimum age
The product may not be operated by people, who are less
than 16 years old.
The use by young people forms an exception, if the operation
takes place during a vocational training to achieve the skill
and under supervision through a trainer.
Training
The use of the product requires only a corresponding training
through a skilled staff or on the basis of the operating manual.
A special training is not necessary.
Operation
Make sure the Laminate cutter is positioned properly and
cannot be tipped over.
Instructions step by step
1. Mark a line in the place where the workpiece is to be cut.
2. Insert the workpiece in the laminate cutter and place the
cutting edge on the line with the lever being partially
pressed down.
3. Press the lever down with constant pressure.
4. Laminate is cut effortlessly and cleanly along the line
marked by you due to the extra long lever.
5. Place the workpiece cleanly to the stop and cut in the
required place at rectangular cuts!
Maintenance and protection
All service and repair works can be done by skilled
professionals only.
- Regularly remove dust and cuttings from the appliance.
- Grease the mechanical parts by suitable lubricant
Knife grinding:
The blade of the laminate cutter is made of wear-free
material. Due to its special shape, the cutting blade must
not be ground or sharpened.
