Requirements for operating sta
The appliance may only be operated and maintained
by persons familiarised with it and informed about
possible risks.
Never let children work with the appliance. Never let
adults work with the appliance unless they have been
properly trained.
The operating sta must carefully read the Opera
-
tingInstructions before using the appliance.
Qualication: Apart from the detailed instructions
by aprofessional, no special qualication is necessary
forappliance using.
Minimum age: Persons over 18 years of age can
only workon the appliance.An exception includes
youngsters trained in order to reachknowledge
under supervision of the trainer duringoccupational
education.

Training: Using the appliance only requires corre

spondingtraining by a professional or the Operating
Instructions. Nospecial training is necessary.
Residual risks
Even when the device is used properly and all safety
regulations are complied with, there still may be
some residual risks.
• Cutting injury
• Hearing damage
A longer stay in the immediate vicinity of the
running unit may cause hearing damage. Wear ear
protectors!
• Damage to health arising from vibrations to hand
and arms if the device is used for a long time or if
the device is not guided and evaluated properly.
• Vibration damping systems are no guaranteed
protection against white nger disease or carpal
tunnel syndrome. Therefore, it is necessary to care
-
fully check the state of your ngers and wrist if you
have regularly used the appliance for a long time. If
any symptom of the diseases above appears, seek
medical advice immediately. To reduce the white
nger disease risk, keep your hands warm and take
regular breaks during your work.
Despite the observance of the operating instructions
there still may be some hidden residual risks.
Emergency procedure
Conduct a rst-aid procedure adequate to the injury
and summon qualied medical attendance as quickly
as possible. Protect the injured person from further
harm and calm them down. For the sake of eventual
accident, inaccordance with DIN13164, a workplace
has to be ttedwith a rst-aid kit. It isessential to
replace any usedmaterial in the rst-aid kitimmedia
-
tely after it has been used. If you seek help,state the
