Installation and Use
• Guardian Fall Protection GR11 Web SRLs MUST NEVER be used in Leading Edge (LE) applications.
• ALWAYS avoid lifeline contact with sharp or abrasive edges and surfaces, both during use and in
event of a fall.
1. All components of the personal fall arrest system must be selected and deemed compatible with GR11 Web
SRL by a Competent Person.
2. Ensure area where work is to be performed is free of all hazards, including, but not limited to, debris, rot,
rust, sharp or abrasive edges and surfaces, and hazardous materials.
3. GR11 Web SRLs may be used either with the housing attached to the anchor point or to the harness dorsal
D-ring. Anchor point must be located no more than 2‘ below harness dorsal D-ring (from standing
working position).
*If using GR11 Web SRL with rebar hook, SRL housing must always be attached at harness dorsal D-ring. Rebar
hook must ONLY be connected to structural rebar, or other structural anchor (such as angle iron or concrete
form) deemed compatible with GR11 Web SRL by Competent Person.
4. To use GR11 Web SRL with housing at anchor point, attach to anchor point with provided carabiner, or
equivalent, and attach snap hook to applicable harness D-ring.
5. To use GR11 Web SRL with housing at harness, attach to dorsal D-ring with provided carabiner, or equivalent,
and attach snap hook to compatible anchorage connector.
