ALWAYS assemble and use Collapsible G-Rail System according to
instructions provided with equipment by the manufacturer.
Fall Prevention: Collapsible G-Rail System may be used in Fall Prevention applications
ONLY. Fall Prevention System are placed around the leading edges of any and all fall
hazards to prevent a worker from going over an edge, and may be used in substitute of
Fall Protection or safety netting systems. Installation requirements for Collapsible G-Rail
System set forth in product instruction manual MUST be adhered to. Personal Fall Arrest,
Work Positioning, Climbing, Rescue, and any other systems must NEVER be connected to
Fall Prevention Systems.
Toeboards must be 2” x 4” construction grade lumber. Baseplates must be at least 24” from the edge
of any opening or fall hazard.
An outrigger is a guardrail installed perpendicular to a continuous run. ALWAYS use outriggers at BOTH
ends of any interruption in a Collapsible G-Rail System, and at BOTH ends of a continuous Collapsible
G-Rail System. There is no limit on the maximum length of a continuous Collapsible G-Rail System.
MAXIMUM permitted roof pitch is 1/12 (5°).
