SPECIAL SETTINGS

Deleting a network which can-
not be accessed
This function allows you to delete a network for
which access data is still stored in the device,
although they are no longer available.
1 Press »MENU« to open the menu.
2 Select the option »System settings« with » «
or » « and press »OK« to confirm.
3 Select the option »Network« with » « or
» « and press »OK« to confirm.
4 Select the option »Network profile« with » «
or » « and press »OK« to confirm.
– The existent networks appears. The „ac-
tive“ network is marked with a star.
5 Select the network to be deleted with » « or
» « and press »OK« to confirm.
6 Select the push button »YES« with » « or
» « and press »OK« to confirm.
Note:

If the push button »NO« is selected and
confirmed, then the deletion process will be
cancelled.
7 Press »MENU« to end the setting.
Updating the device software
This function enables you to use the device with
the latest software.
Warning:

Do not turn your device power off during
updates.
1 Open the menu for the current input source by
pressing »MENU«.
2 Select the option »System settings« with » «
or » « and press »OK« to confirm.
3 Select the option »Software update« with
» « or » « and press »OK« to confirm.
– The »Software update« menu appears, two
options are available for selection.
Notes:

If »Auto-check setting« is selected, the
device checks in one cycle whether new
software is available.

If »Check now« is selected, the device
checks the software version.
4 If a new version is available, this can be
loaded by selecting the push button »YES«.
Selecting the push button »NO« cancels the
update.
Changing the menu language
1 Open the menu for the current input source by
pressing »MENU«.
2 Select the option »System settings« with » «
or » « and press »OK« to confirm.
3 Select the option »Language« with » « or
» « and press »OK« to confirm.
4 Select the preferred language with » « or
» « and press »OK« to confirm.
5 End the setting by pressing »MENU«.
Restoring the default settings
(reset)
This function enables you to reset all the custom
settings back to the default settings (Internet and
FM stations, time, alarm times and network ac-
cess data are deleted).
1 Press »MENU« to open the menu.
2 Select the option »System settings« with » «
or » « and press »OK« to confirm.
3 Select the option »Factory Reset« with » « or
» « and press »OK« to confirm.
– Display: »Proceed? YES – NO«.
4 Select »YES« with » « or » « and press
»OK« to confirm.
– If you confirm, »Restarting« appears on
display and the device restarts to reset the
settings.
