Adjusting the volume
1 Adjust the volume by pressing »–
X
+«
on the remote control or by pressing »–« or
»+« on the device.
Listening with headphones or
earphones
1 Insert the headphone plug (3.5 mm) into the
»U« socket on the back of the device.
– The loudspeaker of the device is switched
off.
Important:

Prolonged listening with the head phones
or ear phones at loud volumes can dam-
age your hearing.
Select the sound effects
1 Press »MENU« to open the menu.
2 Select the option »System settings« with » «
or » « and press »OK« to confirm.
3 Select the option »Equaliser« with » « or
» « and press »OK« to confirm.
4 Select the desired sound effect by pressing
with » « or » « and press »OK« to confirm.
5 Press »MENU« to end the setting.
Automatic switch-off
1 The device switches automatically to stand-by
after 15 minutes, if:
– The device is in the “Stop” position;
– No audio signal is present at the »AUX
IN« socket.
2 Switch on the device again to continue using
the device.

Switching on and off
1 Switch on the device from standby mode by
pressing »8« on the remote control or »ON/
OFF« on the device.
– Display: The system switches to the last
source selected.
2 Switch the device to standby mode by press-
ing »8« on the remote control or »ON/OFF«
on the device.
– Display: The current time and date.
Note:

The only way to disconnect the device from
the mains supply is to pull out the plug from
the wall socket.
Selecting the input source
1 Press »M« repeatedly to select »Internet Ra-
dio«, »Spotify«, »Music player«, »DAB radio«,
»FM radio« or »Aux In« on the display;
or
1 Press »MENU« to open the menu.
2 Select the »Main menu« with » « or » «
and press »OK« to confirm.
3 Select your required input source (»Internet
Radio«, »Spotify«, »Music player«, »DAB«,
»FM« or »Aux In«) with » « or » « and
press »OK« to confirm.
