Determining the unit of weight
This appliance can display the weight in the
following units:

1 Set the desired unit of weight by continuously

Choosing the nutritional values
By using 1/2/3/4 button

, you can choose
the nutritients which are appropriate for your
needs. Refer to the table below for the nutritients
group that the numbers represent.
1 Diet and diabetes : Calories, carbohydrates,
fiber
2 Cardiovascular : Sodium, potassium,
magnesium
3 Lipids : Total fats, saturated fats, cholesterol
4 Osteoporosis and warfarin users : Calcium,
protein, vitamin K
1 Set the desired nutritional values by
continuously pressing the 1/2/3/4 button

Tare Function
The Tare function enables you to weigh addi-
tional items separately and keep adding them to
the existing contents.
1 To use the Tare function, press ON/OFF/TARA
button

after step 4 at normal mode section.
– Wait for 2 seconds until the display

indicates “Tare” and “0”.
2 Put the additional item on the weighing
surface

– Weight of the item appears on the display

For weighing any further additional items re-
peat steps 1-2.
3 To turn the appliance off, hold down the ON/
OFF/TARA button

for 5 seconds.
Caution

Do not overload the scales, otherwise it could
break. If the scale is overloaded, “Err” ap-
pears in the display.

The maximum weight on the display of the
scales is: 5000 g - 176 oz
