Notes
■ Before first use or if you have not
used them for a long time, charge
up the batteries completely (about
14 hours).
■ After each further use, charging
time is approx. 2 hours.
■ The ambient temperature should
be between 15°C and 35°C.
■ If you switch on the appliance
while it is charging, charging will
be interrupted.
■ When fully charged, the appliance
works for around 50 minutes. It is
not advisable to charge the bat-
teries after each use. Generally,
you should only charge the bat-
teries when they are completely
discharged. This increases their
service life.
■ You can use the appliance with
the adapter connected to the wall
socket or in battery mode.

1 Remove the plastic protective cap

Caution
■ The foils and blade blocks must
be intact. Replace any damaged
parts before shaving.
Rechargeable
battery operation
When operating the appliance with
the built-in nickel metal hydride bat-
tery, only use the power adapter sup-
plied for charging.
The power adapter has an automatic
100 - 240 V
~
, 50-60 Hz transformer
which works anywhere in the world.
This allows it to adjust to all interna-
tional AC voltages.
1 Push the On/Off switch

2 Plug the power adapter

power adapter socket

and the
power adapter plug into the wall
socket.
– During the charging process,
the LED charging indicator

flashes.
– The LED charging indicator

is flashing blue while charging
and lights up blue after fully
charged.
3 Pull the power adapter

out of
the power adapter socket

and
the power adapter plug out of the
wall socket.
