POWER SUPPLY ___________________________________ Charging the battery The appliance runs with the built-in, rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery. Use the power supply unit supplied and the charging unit for charging the appliance. 1 Put the contacts E of the appliance into the contact in the charging unit. 2 Plug the power supply unit into the E socket on the charging unit. 3 Plug the power supply unit into the wall socket. – The indicator H lights up red.
OPERATION ________________________________________ Switching on and off 1 Press the sliding switch D to turn the appliance on and off. Trimming hair 1 Use the ceramic/stainless steel cutting head without attachments for the closest possible trimming. Note 7 The trimming width of the ceramic/stainless steel cutting head is 25 mm. 4 Push the trimmer back as far as it will go to deactivate it. Note 7 The trimming width of the precision trimmer is 14 mm.
OPERATION ________________________________________ Level 2 Level 4 Level 6 Level 8 Level 10 2 mm 4 mm 6 mm 8 mm 10 mm 2 Attach the precision trimmer by pushing the attachment into the slots on the appliance and let it latch into place. 3 Take off the comb by pushing the catch lever upwards. Trimming nose and ear hair 1 Take off the ceramic/stainless steel cutting head by pressing on the ceramic blade (white) and lift it off.
OPERATION ________________________________________ Removing hair completely 1 Take off the cutting head or precision trimmer. 2 Attach the razor foil attachment by pushing it into the slots on the appliance and let it latch into place. 3 Remove hair at the appropriate place just like using a shaver.
CLEANING AND CARE ___________________________ Cleaning and care 1 Switch off the appliance. 2 Take off the comb. 3 Clean the housing, the cutting head and the comb attachment or any other attachments with a soft damp cloth or the supplied brush. Note 7 You can also wash the cutting head under running water. Never completely submerge the appliance in water. 4 Before using the appliance again, dry all parts completely using a towel. 5 Do not use cleaning agents. 6 Put the comb back on again.
