EXPERT Settings
EXPERT
A great number of possible settings
To make car radio operation as easy as possi-
ble, numerous settings that you need only
once or occasionally are located in an additio-
nal control level (EXPERT).
Setting
1. Activating the EXPERT function
Press the
“
LOUD
EXPERT
button until the signal
sounds.
2. Selecting settings
Select from
the setting you wish to check or alter.
Example:
Turn the

rotary knob until the desired
setting "LCD 25" appears in the display.

EXPERT

Set the desired contrast using the

Briefly press the

EXPERT
button:

E" disappears from the display.
6. Selecting the next setting
(repeat the steps 2 to 5).
7. Deactivating EXPERT
Press the

LOUD
EXPERT
button until the signal
sounds.

Display shows: » ...... «
1 Activate coding
If » CODE « appears in the display the
coding is not activated.
If » SAFE « appears in the display the
coding is activated.
2 Change display contrast
» LCD 25 « (00 … 63), adjust according
to installation position of car radio.
Setting can best be adjusted “at dark”.
3 Display colour
Vario-Color (from green to red)
» COL 25 « (00 … 53).
4 Security LED (on/off)
» BLK ON « CD button flashes when unit,
LED, and ignition are off.
» BLK OFF « CD button does not flash.
5 Signal tone (on/off)
» BEEP ON « A signal tone sounds when
functions are changed.
» BEEP OFF « No signal tone sounds when
functions are changed.
