4. Dismantling the product
Position part numbers (numbers in brackets) refer to
section SCALA1 exploded view.
4.1 Before dismantling the product
Follow these steps before starting dismantling the pump.
1. Disconnect the power supply to the motor.
2. Remove power cable according to local regulations.
3. Gradually loosen the valves to release the pressure in the
pump.
4. Remove the drain plug to drain the pump.
4.2 Removing the pump cover
1. Loosen the union nuts (100) with your hand and remove the
inlet and outlet connections – fittings (100a), and O-ring (100b)
– from the pump.
Use the tip of a small flat screwdriver to remove the
O-ring.
2. Remove the non-return valve discharge (65a) and the O-ring
(65b) from the top of the pump.
3. Gently push the locking tab at the bottom of the pump with a
flat screwdriver.
4. Loosen and pull away the pump cover (403) to remove it from
the pump.

4.3 Removing the pressure switch
Follow these steps to remove the pressure switch:
1. Loosen and remove the screws that hold the pressure switch
cover (184).
2. Remove the pressure switch cover.
3. Disconnect the cable of the pressure switch from the clips that
hold it in place.
4. Loosen the screws which hold the pressure switch to the pump.
5. Remove the pressure switch.

Tape the pressure switch to the side of the pump
body while you continue the dismantling.
4.4 Removing the connection module housing
1. Loosen and remove the screws (26) that hold the connection
module housing. Remove the washers (26c).
2. Remove the plug (169) at the end of the shaft.
3. Remove the connection module housing(2).

4.5 Removing the membrane
1. Loosen and remove the eight screws (43a) that hold the cover
for the membrane.
2. Remove the cover for the membrane (43).
3. Pull out the membrane (41).
