SQFlex Wind with CU 200 and level
switch
The SQFlex Wind system allows wind energy to be stored
as water in a reservoir.
SQFlex Wind systems with a water reservoir are used in the
following cases:
For short periods, when wind energy is insufficient to run
the pump.
A backup water source is needed
As the turbine noise level increases with the wind speed, do
not install the wind turbine near residential areas.
Benefits
Combined with CU 200, the level switch has a pump cut-out
function when the water reservoir is full.
CU 200 indicates the following:
full water reservoir (level switch activated)
pump operation
input power.
CU 200 indicates operational downtime in the following
cases:
dry running
service (see page CU 200 SQFlex control unit)
insufficient energy supply.
The IO 102 switches off the power supply in the system and
slows down or stops the wind turbine in the following cases:
There is no need for water supply.
The system requires service.
Other benefits:
easy installation
minimal maintenance
few and simple components.
Note: CU 200 works with SQFlex up to 1400 W. CIU 903
works with any SQFlex up to 2500 W.
