• Alert: Select to alert when a cell broadcast message arrives.
• Automatic: Select to receive and display cell broadcast messages
automatically.
• Language: Choose which language you want to use for cell
broadcast messages.
SMS
• SMSC: Enter the SMSC (Short Message Service Center) phone
number. and press to set the number. You can get this
information from your network service provider.
• Access Type: Choose the transport method for SMS: GSM or
GPRS.
• Reply path: Press to use the SMSC specified in the message
for the reply path.
• Validity period: Set the validity period for new SMS messages.
MMS
• MMSC List: If there are no records in the list, press to add a
new IP address. Press to save the setting. (MMSC:
Multimedia Messaging Service Center)
• Connection: Select the account to use for MMS. If no accounts
are shown, you can create and edit accounts in the GPRS and
GSM dialup connection settings menu.
• Protocol: Choose WAP to use WAP transport for MMS. Choose
Internet to use HTTP transport.
