TURBODOG navigation system

This chapter gives you a brief introduction how to navigate using

TURBODOG while you drive. Before we explore all detailed

functionalities provided by this application, you have to make

sure that:

• Your TURBODOG is firmly mounted on your car.

• TURBODOG searches for positioning information from

three satellites and your position is oriented when the

application starts.

Cold start & Warm start

When you use GPS receiver for the first time, it may take up 2-

15 minutes to secure satellite information and orientate accurate

position (Cold start). Your position fix is stored in the memory.

For subsequent use of GPS receiver, it only takes up 1-3 min-

utes to locate your position (Warm start). Once your position is

fixed by GPS receiver, the system starts navigation immediately

without any extra operation when you start the appliation.
