Fault Cause Remedy

Water does not flow • Water supply interrupted

• Plug-in connector without contact or no voltage

supply

- Open shut-off valves, isolating valves

- Attach plug-in connectors and connect voltage supply

Flow rate too low • Faucet flow regulator dirty or defective

• Functional unit not adapted to local conditions

- Replace flow regulator, see section Maintenance

- Adapt functional unit to local conditions, see Function F2 - Setting

mode

Water too cold/hot • Functional unit not adapted to local conditions - Adapt functional unit to local conditions, see Function F2 - Setting

mode

No function • No voltage supply to functional unit

• Digital controller not ready or registered

- Connect voltage supply via voltage supply unit

- Register digital controller, see Function F3 - Register/de-register

• Digital controller out of range

• Radio interference

• Obstacle in transmission path

- Reduce distance or use special accessory transceiver

(order no 36 356)

- Deactivate potential source of interference and check function again

=> If positive reconfigure the interference source (eg wireless router)

- Rectify the fault see section Operating conditions

• 1x: Batteries digital controller almost empty

• 2x and water pulses: Battery functional unit

almost empty

• 2x without water pulses: Battery functional

unit not connected or empty

• 3x: Temperature too high

- Check installation or replace unit battery, see section Maintenance

- Connect plug in-connector battery or replace battery, see section

Maintenance

- Wait until feeler gauge is cooling down

- Calibrate functional unit, see section F2 - Setting mode

• Software malfunction - Switch off the voltage supply and consult a specialist installer

or the GROHE Service Hotline

• Hard- or software malfunction - Switch off the voltage supply and consult a specialist installer

or return the product to GROHE
