Gibs

The tail end of the spring is located on

the perimeter of the spring housing. This

part may be sharp! Use leather gloves or

a heavy shop towel to cover the tail while

loading or unloading return spring pres-

sure. Failure to use such precautions may

result in personal injury. Do not completely

remove the cover! If you remove the spring

cover, the spring will uncoil rapidly and

create a risk of laceration or impact injury.

Wear gloves and safety glasses during this

procedure.
