Transport
• Ensurethattheequipmentisswit-
ched off when changing locations
andthatngersdonottouchthe
on/off switch.
• Carrytheequipmentbythete-
lescopic handle with the chain and
blade pointing backward.
• Attachthechainguardfortrans-
porting and storing the equipment.
• Sawing off larger branches:
For controlled sawing in the case of lar-
ger branches, start by selecting a relief
cut. To do this, saw a notch (a) in the low-
er third of the branch (with the top side of
theblade).Thensawtowardstherstcut
(b) from top to bottom (with the bottom
side of the blade).
• Sawing off in parts:
Saw off large/long branches in sections to
give you control over the impact location.
• Startbysawingoffthelowerbrancheson
the tree in order to facilitate falling of the
cut branches.
• Afternishingthecut,theweightofthe
saw suddenly increases for the operator,
as the saw is no longer supported on the
branch. There is a risk of losing control
over the equipment.
