of use can be lengthened with suitable
gloves or regular breaks. Be aware that
personal tendency to poor circulation,
low outside temperatures or high gripping
forces when working will reduce the time
of use.
• Theequipmentisdesignedfortwo-han-
ded operation. Never work one-handed.
• Ensureasafestancewhensawingand
assume a safe working posture. Do not
work on a ladder, in a tree or in other un-
stable locations.
Take great care when working on a slope,
as you may lose your balance.
• Whensawing,beawareoffalling
branches. There is a risk of being hit by
falling branches or branches springing
away when they fall on the ground.
• Keepthepowercablestrictlybehindthe
operator. The cable must always run
away to the rear of the equipment.
• Switchontheequipmentonlyifyoucan
see the cutter. Ensure that the equipment
does not come into contact with the
ground, stones, cable or other foreign
bodies when starting and during work.
Switch off the equipment before putting it
down.
• Ensurethattheequipmentisswitchedoff
whenchanginglocationsandthatngers
do not touch the on/off switch. Carry the
equipment by the telescopic handle with
the chain and blade pointing backward.
Attach the chain guard for transporting the
equipment.
• Donotworkinrain,poorweatherora
damp environment. Work only in good
light.
• Whenworking,ensurethatthehandles
are dry and clean.
• Settheclawstoprmlyforeachcutand
begin sawing only after this.
• Takeparticularcarewhensawingsmall
bushes and branches. Thin branches can
become entangled in the saw and whip in
your direction or throw you off balance.
• Donocutwoodthatislyingonthe
ground.
• Whensawingbelowabranchunder
tension, be aware of a possible rebound
when the tension in the wood drops sud-
denly. There is a risk of injury.
• Donotusetheequipmentnearamma-
bleliquidsorgases.Thereisariskofre
or explosion in case of non-observance.
• Donotworkwithequipmentthatisda-
maged,incompleteorhasbeenmodied
without the consent of the manufacturer.
Never use the saw with defective safety
equipment. Do not use tools on which
the switch cannot be turned on and off.
Before use, check the safety condition of
the saw and particularly the blade, chain
brake and chain. There is a risk of injury.
• Disconnectfromthemainswhennot
using the equipment, before mainte-
nance, inspection, cleaning or replacing
accessories. Ensure that the equipment is
switched off when plugging in.
• Keepunusedequipmentinadry,locked
place and out of reach of children.
