Model G0606X1/G0697X
Circuit Requirements for 440V
This machine can be converted to operate on a
440V power supply (refer to Voltage Conversion
instructions) that has a verified ground and meets
the following requirements:
Nominal Voltage .............................. 440V/480V
Cycle ..........................................................60 Hz
Phase .................................................... 3-Phase
Circuit Rating ...................................... 15 Amps
Connection ......Hardwire with Locking Switch
Model G0606X1/G0697X
Connection Device
For 220V operation: The power cord and plug
specified under Circuit Requirements for 220V
on the previous page have an equipment-ground-
ing wire and a grounding prong. The plug must
only be inserted into a matching receptacle
(outlet) that is properly installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and ordinances
(see figure below).
For 440V operation: As specified in “Circuit
Requirements for 440Von the previous page, the
machine must be hardwired to the power source,
using a locking switch as a disconnecting means
(see below). The machine must also be connect-
ed to a grounded metal permanent wiring system;
or to a system having an equipment-grounding
conductor. Due to the complexity and high voltage
involved, this type of installation MUST be done
by a qualified electrician.
