LOCK BAR COVER INSTALLATION

For 400 and 500 Series Doors

The lock bar plate is provided to cover the passage

slots on the strike side z-bar, and to accommodate

secure operation of deadbolt and striker.

1. Position cover plate over the strike side z-bar slots.

2. Engage the deadbolt and striker until they pass

freely through the cover plate.

3. Drill through top and bottom face of the cover plate

and through the lock bar/z-bar, and attach with

2 screws provided.
