BEFORE USE Choice of plates: Sandwich or Waffle Before using this electrical appliance, carefully read the instructions below and keep the instructions for use for future use: a. B efore plugging the appliance into the wall socket, check that the local electric current corresponds to the current specified on the appliance’s rating plate. Always plug your appliance into a grounded wall socket. b.
Your waffles can require more cooking time depending on your taste and the quality of the food prepared. Open the appliance and remove your preparation using a wooden or silicone utensil. Never use a metal utensil to prevent damage the non-stick coating of the plates. Close the appliance again to preserve the heat until the next preparation is ready to cook. Unplug the appliance after use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Unplug the appliance and let it cool down after use before cleaning it. Remove the plates by pulling on the holding tabs in the direction indicated by the arrow. Wipe the inside and the sides of the plates with an absorbent paper towel or a soft cloth. You can use a wooden or silicone spatula to remove residues (hardened-on cheese, for example). Wipe the outside of the appliance only using a damp cloth, then dry it.
