7.3 TRANSPORTING AND STORING
Do not store or transport the power head while it is running. Always remove the battery
pack before storing or transporting it.
Clean all foreign material from the power head.
Store the unit in a dry, well-ventilated area, locked up or up high, out of the reach of
children. Do not store the tool on or adjacent to fertilizers, gasoline, or other chemicals.
Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and deicing salts.

Battery is depleted Charge the battery pack.

Re-install the battery pack.
Battery is depleted
Remove battery, check contacts, and re-install
the battery pack.
The safety push
button is not pressed
before grasping the
switch handle.
The battery is
overheated. The LED
indicator on the
battery flashes green.
Press down the safety push-button and with it
depressed, grasp the switch handle.
Remove the overheated battery from the tool
and wait until the battery pack cools down, then
re-install the battery and restart the tool.
Charge the battery pack according to the
instructions.
Allow the battery pack or the motor to cool down.
To secure the battery pack, make sure the
battery packs snap into place.
