1.1 WORK AREA SAFETY
Never attach or adjust any attachment while the power head is running or with the
battery installed. Failure to stop the motor and remove the battery may cause
serious personal injury.
Make sure the tool is firmly secured before operation. Failure to secure the attach-
ment and power head/extension pole as instructed above could result in serious
injury or death.

safety instructions in this manual are designed to protect your safety and guide your use
of the Green Machine
®
Cordless power head. Failure to read and understand the
following information may create an unsafe workspace which could constitute a risk of
electric shock, explosions, heavy flying objects, fire, or chemical reactions.
NOTE: This extension tube is designed for use with GREEN MACHINE Power Head
GMMT6200-PH and GREEN MACHINE Pole Saw Attachment GMMT6200-PSA or GREEN
MACHINE Hedge Trimmer Attachment GMMT6200-HTA.
For detailed safety caution and operation of the extension tube, refer to pole
saw or hedge trimmer operator’s manual.
Prepare your workspace before turning on your tool. Ensuring a clean and well-lit
workspace should always be the first step in using your Green Machine
®
power head
since cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
Clear the area before each use. Remove all objects such as rocks, broken glass,
nails, wire, or string.
Never operate your power tool in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
Power tools create sparks that may ignite dust or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating your power tool. By operating
away from bystanders, you are reducing the risk of injury by minimizing potential harm
to people other than yourself. Additionally, you can avoid unwanted distractions which
may lead to unsafe operations.
Never use the power head within close vicinity of any electric cables.
Avoid dangerous environments, and don’t use tools in wet locations.
Use the tool as it was designed. Do not use the tool for any job except for which it is
intended.
Don’t use the tool in the rain.
