7.7 TRANSPORTING AND STORING
The lock-off button is not
pressed before pressing
the trigger switch
The blade is jammed. Remove the battery pack from the tool.
Remove the obstruction carefully and
then reinsert the battery and restart
the tool.
The edger shaft is not well
connected to the power

Press down the lock-off lever and hold
it, then press the trigger to turn

Do not store or transport the edger attachment while it is running. Always remove
the battery pack before storing or transporting it.
Always exercise caution to avoid the sharp blade, even when your machine is
turned off.
Clean the edger thoroughly before storing it.
If the edger attachment is removed from the power head and stored separately:
Fit the tube protective cap on the attachment shaft to avoid dirt getting into the
shaft.
Store the unit in a dry, well-ventilated area, locked up or up high, out of the reach
of children. Do not store the unit on or adjacent to fertilizers, gasoline, or other
chemicals
Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and de-icing salts.
Switch off and remove the battery before any troubleshooting.
NOTE: The following chart lists problem symptoms, possible causes, and corrective
action if your garden product does not operate properly. If these do not identify and

TROUBLESHOOTING
Disconnect the edger from the power
head. Reconnect them following the
section “4.31 CONNECTING THE
EDGER ATTACHMENT TO THE
POWER HEAD” in this manual.
Grass or the soil edged is
too wet
Avoid edging in wet soil or wet grass
Blade guard is clogged Stop the motor, remove the
battery pack, and remove debris
from the blade guard.
