What is covered and for how long?
Samsung Telecommunications America, Inc.
(“SAMSUNG”)warrantstotheoriginalpurchaser(“Purchaser”)thatSAMSUNG’sphones
andaccessories(“Products”)arefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipunder
normal use and service for the period commencing upon the date of purchase and
continuingforthefollowingspeciedperiodoftimeafterthatdate:

What is not covered?
ThisLimitedWarrantyisconditioneduponproperuseofProductbyPurchaser.This
LimitedWarrantydoesnotcover:(a)defectsordamageresultingfromaccident,misuse,
abuse,neglect,unusualphysical,electricalorelectromechanicalstress,ormodication
ofanypartofProduct,includingantenna,orcosmeticdamage;(b)equipmentthathas
theserialnumberremovedormadeillegible;(c)anyplasticsurfacesorotherexternally
exposedpartsthatarescratchedordamagedduetonormaluse;(d)malfunctions
resulting from the use of Product in conjunction with accessories, products, or
ancillary/peripheralequipmentnotfurnishedorapprovedbySAMSUNG;(e)defectsor
damagefromimpropertesting,operation,maintenance,installation,oradjustment;
(f) installation, maintenance, and service of Product, or (g) Product used or purchased
outsidetheUnitedStatesorCanada.
ThisLimitedWarrantycoversbatteriesonlyifbatterycapacityfallsbelow80%ofrated
capacityorthebatteryleaks.ThisLimitedWarrantydoesnotcoveranybatteryif(i)the
