Configure PM400 Monitor (Canola)
Refer to Figure 10 (depicting a 1625AHD-32TR30,
U.S. customary units, rows 1-4 in Blockage mode, Row 5 I/O
currently selected, and row 6 in Population mode)
Canola and mustard are singulated seeds when planted
using the 817-991C 250 cell canola seed disk.
1. Press the PLANTER SETUP key. Press the
Right Arrow key to select Configuration 2

This moves the Planter Configuration Indicator
under the “2” in the Configuration block .
2. Use the Down Arrow key ( or ) to move the
input focus to Row I/O at the bottom of the screen.
Press the ENTER to begin altering row I/O. This
auto-selects row 1. Rows default to population
mode (your setup may vary).
3. As each row icon is selected, press the
Up or Down Arrow key ( or )
to change the icon to blockage mode .
4. Press the Right Arrow key ( ) to move to the next
row.
Repeat step 3 and step 4 until all rows are Blockage.
Changes are saved as made.
5. Press the Operate button to begin planting.
Configure MVT Monitor
These instructions are for the DICKEY-john
®
MVT (Mini
Virtual Terminal) monitor, singulated seeds and the
monitor in Population mode.
If the planter has recently been used to plant larger
singulated seeds, verify that the SEED ROW SETUP
pattern is changed from “ALL POPULATION” to
“ALL BLOCKAGE”, or set individual rows from
population mode to blockage mode .
b. This convention in this manual is Configuration 1:Singulated/Population, 2:Singulated/Blockage, 3:Volumetric/Blockage.
