Install Row Delivery Components
Start with the meter on the right end of the drill.
Hoses at Meters
58. Select one each new:
123-307D GRASS SEED HOSE, 60IN.
800-029C SINGLE WIRE HOSE CLAMP #14
59. Place a clamp about 2in from one end of the
hose .
60. Slide this end of the hose fully on to the output port
of the right end (or next available) Small Seeds
meter .
61. Release the clamp and position it about

4
in above
the bottom of the meter exit port.
62. Repeat step 58 through step 61 for each row unit.
Hardware at the row unit is different for 7- and 10-foot
drills. For a 10-foot drill continue at step 71 on page 15.
Side Delivery Hardware
Start with the row unit at the right end of the drill.
Refer to Figure 16
63. Select one each new:
133-128H SGS SIDE DELIVERY TUBE
802-427C HFS 3/8-16X3 3/4 SPTHD
803-209C NUT FLANGE LOCK 3/8-16 PLT
64. Position the side delivery tube weldment with
the tube to the left of the row unit frame, and the
side mounting hole aligned with a pair of side holes
in the frame behind the main seed tube hole .
Secure with bolt and nut .
65. Select one new:
800-029C SINGLE WIRE HOSE CLAMP #14
66. Place the clamp about 2in from the bottom end
of the hose for this row.
67. Slide the bottom end of the hose onto the top of the
side delivery tube, so that it completely covers the
exposed length of the tube above the welded block.
68. Release the clamp and move it down until it is

in
below the top of the tube.
69. Repeat step 63 through step 68 for the remaining
row units.
Note: At the left end row units, it may be necessary to
route the seed hose through the jackshaft bracket.
70. Continue at step 77.
