13.2 Formatting program places on the handheld programming device

Before transmitting timer programs to the timer via the handheld programming
device, the program places of the handheld programming device must be
formatted to the corresponding timer.
1. In the menu bar, select Options


This will open the window "Format".
2. In the Serial Portbox,selecttheserialinterfaceofyourPCtowhichthe
handheld programming device is connected.
3. In the Program Place box, select the memory space whose timer program
you want to format.
4. Clickon
to start formatting.

The progress bar will be shown.
• The format of the program places remains stored until a new format is
assigned.
• Select Options


Delete,
to delete program places of the handheld programming device.
