Notice of Special Instructions for the Top Guard Fall
Restraint System
If a Top Guard fall restraint system is to be installed in this tank, the Top Guard reinforcement kit
must be installed at the same time as the roof beam stiffeners and tension plates as shown in
PNEG-1753. The reinforcement kit must be installed now and cannot be installed after the roof
structure is assembled. Consult with the site project manager to determine if a Top Guard fall
restraint system is to be installed in this tank.
