The following table helps repair and localise small faults

Coffee runs down
the side of the
group handle
Group handle is not
attached correctly
Ensure the handle is
rmly positioned onto
the group head.
Edge of lter basket
is not free of coffee
grinds.
Wipe the group hand-
le clean of coffee.
The group head is dirty. Clean the group head.

is in the off position.
Group lter maybe blo-
cked.
Empty out the lter
and rinse under wa-
ter to clean. Wipe the
group head with a
cloth. Repack the lter
and do not tamp the
grounds to rmly.
Unit blocked by scale
build up.
Descale the unit
Brewing head is dirty
Clean the brewing
head.
Espresso does not
have any crema.
Coffee is old or dry Use fresh coffee.
Coffee too coarse.
Grind the coffee to a
ner texture.
