The model number and date of manufacture can be found on a label underneath your booster seat. Fill out the prepaid registration postcard attached to the seat cover and mail it today. Child restraints could be recalled for safety reasons. You must register this restraint to be reached in a recall.

Warnings to Parents and Other Users NEVER PLACE THIS BOOSTER SEAT IN A VEHICLE SEATING LOCATION THAT HAS AN AIR BAG . If an air bag inflates, it can hit the child and booster seat with great force and cause serious injury or death to your child. Refer to your vehicle owner¶s manual for information about air bags and booster seat installation.
NO BOOSTER SEAT CAN GUARANTEE PROTECTION FROM INJURY. HOWEVER, PROPER USE OF THIS BOOSTER SEAT REDUCES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO YOUR CHILD. DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THIS BOOSTER SEAT UNTIL YOU READ AND UNDERSTAND THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL AND IN YOUR VEHICLE OWNER’S MANUAL. DO NOT let others install or use the booster seat unless they understand how to use it. According to crash statistics, CHILDREN ARE SAFER WHEN PROPERLY RESTRAINED IN REAR VEHICLE SEATING POSITIONS, RATHER THAN FRONT SEATING POSITIONS. For a vehicle with a front passenger air bag, refer to your vehicle owner¶s manual as well as these instructions for booster seat installation. NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED. NEVER LEAVE A BOOSTER SEAT UNSECURED IN YOUR VEHICLE. An unsecured booster seat can be thrown around and may injure occupants in a sharp turn, sudden stop or crash.
DO NOT MODIFY YOUR BOOSTER SEAT or use any accessories or parts supplied by other manufacturers. NEVER USE BOOSTER SEAT IF IT HAS DAMAGED OR MISSING PARTS. DO NOT use a cut, frayed or damaged vehicle seat belt. THE BOOSTER SEAT CAN BECOME VERY HOT IF LEFT IN THE SUN. Contact with these parts can burn your child¶s skin. Always touch the surface of any metal or plastic parts before putting your child in the booster seat.
Weight and Height Limits FAILURE TO USE booster seat in a manner appropriate for your child¶s si]e may increase the risk of serious injury or death. To use this Graco booster seat, your child MUST meet ALL of the following requirements: With back support (approximately 3 to 10 years old) : weigh between 30 and 100 lbs. (mass between 13.
Without back support (approximately 4 to 10 years old) : weigh between 40 and 100 lbs. (mass between 18 and 45 kg), and are between 40 and 57 inches (101 and 145 cm) in height, and 2 the shoulder belt MUST lie across child¶s shoulders in red ]one as shown in 2 and the lap portion is positioned low on the childs hips, and when sitting on the booster seat, your child¶s ears are below the top of the vehicle seat cushion / head rest.
Vehicle Seat Location Requirements IMPROPER PLACEMENT OF THE BOOSTER SEAT INCREASES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. Some seating positions in your vehicle may NOT be safe for this booster seat. Some vehicles do not have any seating positions that can be used safely with the booster seat. If you are not sure where to place the booster seat in your vehicle, consult your vehicle owner¶s manual or call Graco Children¶s Products Inc., at 1-800-345-4109.
Vehicle Seat Belt Requirements A FEW SEAT BELT SYSTEMS ARE NOT SAFE TO USE WITH THE BOOSTER SEAT. Pay careful attention to these systems; some of the seat belts that are NOT safe to use look very much like seat belts that are safe to use. If you are unsure, consult your vehicle owner¶s manual or call Graco Children¶s Products Inc., at 1-800-345-4109.
UNSAFE Vehicle Seat Belt Systems DO NOT USE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING VEHICLE BELT SYSTEMS. NEVER use a lap-only belt. NEVER use a Passive Restraint Lap or Shoulder Belt Mounted on Door NEVER use a Passive Restraint Lap Belt with Motori]ed Shoulder Belt NEVER use vehicle belts that are attached to the door in any way or that move along a track to automatically surround the passenger when the door is closed.
Assembling the Booster Seat Step 1. 1 To attach armrests to base, press armrests into opening in base 1 . CHECK to make sure armrests are securely attached by pulling up on them 2 . SNAP! 2 3 Step 2. Remove cupholder from compartment in bottom of base 3 . Align tabs on side and bottom of 4 cupholder with their slots in base and press cupholder into place 4 . DO NOT REMOVE CUPHOLDER ONCE IT IS ATTACHED.
Step 3. 5 Wrap seat pad around front of base 5 and attach with elastic straps 6 as shown. OR 6 Step 4. OR 7 Your Graco booster seat is now ready to use. See page 27, “Attaching Booster to Vehicle Seat”. OR FOR MODELS with a back support continue on to Step 5.
Assembling the Back Support (on certain models) Step 5. On certain models, your lower back support pad may not be attached to the back support. Place lower back support pad around edges of support as shown. Then fasten lower elastic strap to the metal hook on the other side of the seat pad. If your lower back support pad is already attached go to Step 5a. Step 5a. Flip head support and lower back support over as shown 1 .
Step 6. Squee]e red adjustment button and slide two pieces together until they snap into place 2 . CHECK to make sure two pieces are securely snapped together by pulling on them. 2 SNAP! Step 7. Attach elastic strap to metal hook on other side of seat pad as shown 3 . If your elastic strap is already attached you can skip to Step 8.
Step 8. Flip seat over and insert the fabric from the head support underneath the fabric on the lower back support as shown 4 . To make insertion of fabric easier, slide the upper and lower back pieces apart by squee]ing the red adjustment button.
Step 9. Attach backrest to base. “U”-shaped hooks on bottom of backrest will interlock with bars on base 5 . Make sure that no part of the seat covering interferes when attaching backrest to the base.
Step 10. Once backrest is securely attached to the base, push backrest up as shown 6 .
Step 11. Your Graco booster seat is now ready to use. See page 23-35.
Using your Graco Booster Seat FAILURE TO PROPERLY SECURE YOUR CHILD AND THE BOOSTER SEAT IN YOUR VEHICLE INCREASES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH IN THE EVENT OF A SHARP TURN, SUDDEN STOP OR CRASH. WARNING: Use only 1 the vehicle¶s lap and shoulder belt system when restraining the child in this booster seat 1 . 2 NEVER use a vehicle lap-only belt across front of child 2 .
3 Vehicle belts MUST lie flat against child and MUST not be twisted. DO NOT use shoulder belt loose or positioned under child¶s arm 3 . DO NOT position vehicle 4 belt over top of the armrests 4 . It must pass underneath the armrests. Make sure vehicle belt is NOT twisted. Lap portion of lap/shoulder belt MUST be low and snug on hips, just touching thighs. DO NOT allow child to slide down in booster seat 5 . 5 If child will not keep vehicle restraint properly positioned, DO NOT use this booster seat.
Vehicle seat headrest must not interfere with booster seat head support. The front of booster seat MUST NOT hang over front of vehicle seat 6 . 6 The back of the booster seat MUST fit tight against the vehicle seat back as shown 7 .
Booster Seat Positions Your booster seat has two positions as shown. 1 Upright 2 Reclined The back of the booster seat MUST fit tight against the vehicle seat back as shown in 3 in either the first or second position. 3 DO NOT USE booster seat beyond reclined position 2 .
Attaching Booster to Vehicle Seat WARNING: Use only the vehicle¶s lap and shoulder belt system when restraining the child in this booster seat. AFFIXTM connectors are ONLY to secure the booster seat to the vehicle seat. When using the AFFIXTM connectors, DO NOT place booster seat off-center of the vehicle anchors.
1 1. Push button on front of seat 1 and pull connectors out from back of booster 2 . 2 3 2. Attach connectors to vehicle lower anchors 3. Pull firmly on connectors 4 to be sure they are attached. 4 5 NEVER put two connectors on one vehicle anchor 5 .
3. Tighten connectors, by pushing on booster and pulling straps on front of booster 6 . 6 4. To remove booster, push release button up on front of booster 7 and pull slightly away from seat. 7 5. Push connector in 8 , lift connector up and pull out (away from anchor point) 9 . 8 9 Repeat on other connector.
Securing Your Child in Vehicle 1. Place booster seat firmly against the back of a forward-facing vehicle seat equipped with a lap/ shoulder belt only 1 . 2. Have your child sit in booster seat with their back flat against back of booster seat.
3. Position shoulder belt through the shoulder belt guide shown in 2 , NOT as shown in 3 . Fasten buckle and pull up on the shoulder belt to tighten.
4. To ensure the correct 4 head support height is obtained, the bottom of the headrest SHOULD be even with the top of child¶s shoulders as shown in 4 and the shoulder belt must be positioned in the red ]one as shown in 5 . The lap belt portion MUST pass under the armrests and be positioned low on the hips.
5. If the belt lies across child¶s neck, head or face 6 , readjust head support height. Follow instructions on page 34, “Adjusting the Head Support”.
Adjusting the Head Support BEFORE adjusting the head support height, have your child lean forward slightly. Squee]e the red adjustment button on top of seat and pull back support up until it snaps into one of the 6 height positions. Back of seat To lower, squee]e red adjustment button and push down. CHECK to make sure it is securely snapped into one of the 6 height positions by pulling up on head support.
Removing the Back Support (on certain models) to Use as Backless Booster To use booster seat without back support: Remove back support as shown. “U”-shaped hooks on bottom of back support are interlocked with bars on base. Lift back support off base.
Securing Child in Vehicle with Shoulder Belt Positioning Clip The shoulder belt MUST lie across child¶s shoulders in red ]one as shown. If shoulder belt lies outside this ]one, the shoulder belt positioning clip MUST be used. To attach clip to booster seat: 1. The shoulder belt positioning clip MUST be attached onto the hori]ontal bar in the center of the base. Insert the loop end of strap around hori]ontal bar on rear of seat as shown in 1 .
2. Pass the clip and strap through the loop end as shown in 2 and pull strap up 3 . NOTE: Free end of strap should face front of seat.
3. Slide the vehicle shoulder belt onto the clip as shown in 4 and pull strap down to tighten clip against child¶s shoulder. The lap belt portion MUST pass under the armrests and be positioned low on the hips. The belt MUST NOT be twisted.

Additional Information Airplane Use This restraint is NOT certified for aircraft use because there are no shoulder belts available in an aircraft. Cupholder and Storage Compartment Cupholder and storage compartment are included on sides of the seat.
Instruction Sheet Storage Your instruction sheet can stored on the bottom of the seat as shown. Care and Maintenance CONTINUOUS USE OF BOOSTER SEAT MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO VEHICLE SEAT. Use a booster seat mat, towel or thin blanket to protect upholstery. METAL AND PLASTIC PARTS: clean with mild soap and cool water. No bleach or detergents.
To Remove Seat Cover 1. Remove elastic loops and hooks from seat as shown 1 . 1 2. Refer to your care tag on your seat pad for washing instructions. NO BLEACH. 3. To put the seat cover back on, re-attach pad, loops and hooks.

Montar del asiento para niños Paso 1. 1 Para sujetar los apoyabrazos a la base, oprímalos en la abertura de la base 1 . VERIFIQUE que los apoyabrazos están bien conectados, jalando los mismos 2 . ¡CLIC! 2 3 Paso 2. Saque el apoyavasos del compartimiento de abajo de la base 3 . Alinee las lengüetas de abajo y el costado del apoyavasos 4 con las ranuras de la base y oprímalo en su lugar 4 . NO SAQUE EL APOYAVASOS UNA VEZ QUE ESTÉ SUJETADO.
Paso 3. 5 Pase la almohadilla del asiento alrededor del frente de la base 5 y sujétela con las correas elásticas 6 como se indica. O 6 O Paso 4. Su asiento para niños de 7 Graco ya está lista para usar. Vea la página 27, “Cómo sujetar el asiento para niños al asiento del vehículo”. PARA LOS MODELOS con respaldo, siga con el Paso 5.
Montar el respaldo (en ciertos modelos) Paso 5. En ciertos modelos, es posible que la almohadilla inferior del respaldo no esté sujeta al respaldo. Coloque la almohadilla inferior del respaldo alrededor de los bordes de apoyo, como indica la figura. Luego ajuste la correa elástica inferior al gancho de metal que está en el lado opuesto de la almohadilla del asiento. Si ya sujetó la almohadilla del respaldo, diríjase al Paso 5a. Paso 5a. Paso 6. Apriete el botón rojo de ajuste y junte las dos piezas hasta que encajen en su sitio 2 . VERIFIQUE que las dos piezas estén bien conectadas, jalando las mismas. 2 ¡CLIC! Paso 7. Sujete la correa de elastica como se indica 3 . Si ya sujetó la correa elástica, puede dirigirse directamente el Paso 9.
Paso 8. De la vuelta al asiento e inserte la tela del apoyacabezas debajo de la tela del respaldo como se indica 4 . Para facilitar la inserción de la tela, separe las piezas superior e inferior del respaldo, apretando el botón rojo de ajuste.
Paso 9. Conecte el respaldo a la base. Los ganchos en forma de "U" en el fondo del respaldo se engancharán en las barras de la base 5 . Asegúrese que ninguna pieza de la funda del asiento interfiera con la conexión del respaldo a la base.
Paso 10. Una vez que el respaldo está bien conectado a la base, suba el mismo como se indica 6 .
Paso 11. Su asiento para niños de Graco ya está lista para usar. Vea las páginas 23 a 35.
Usar su asiento para niños de Graco NO SUJETAR CORRECTAMENTE A SU NIÑO Y EL ASIENTO PARA NIÑOS EN SU VEHÍCULO AUMENTA EL RIESGO DE LESIONES GRAVES O LA MUERTE EN CASO DE UN GIRO BRUSCO, UNA PARADA REPENTINA O UN ACCIDENTE. ADVERTENCIA: Use solamente el sistema de cinturones de regazo y hombro del vehículo al sujetar al niño en este asiento para niños 1 . 1 2 NUNCA use un cinturón de regazo solamente para sujetar a su niño 2 .
3 Los cinturones del vehículo DEBEN quedar planos encima del niño y NO DEBEN quedar torcidos. NO use el cinturón de los hombros suelto debajo del brazo del niño 3 . 4 NO coloque el cinturón del vehículo por encima de los apoyabrazos 4 . Debe pasar por debajo de los apoyabrazos. Asegúrese que el cinturón de seguridad del vehículo NO está doblado. La parte de regazo del cinturón de regazo / hombro DEBE quedar bien ajustada en la parte inferior de las caderas, tocando los muslos.
NO permita que el niño se deslice hacia abajo en el asiento para niños 5 . Si el niño no mantiene la posición correcta del cinturón de seguridad del vehículo, NO use este asiento para niños. Use otro sistema de seguridad infantil. 5 El apoyacabezas del 6 asiento del vehículo no debe interferir con el apoyacabezas del asiento para niños. Posiciones del asiento para niños Su asiento para niños tiene dos posiciones como se indica. 1 Vertical 2 Reclinado El respaldo del asiento para niños DEBE caber ajustadamente contra el respaldo del asiento del vehículo como se indica en 3 en la primera o segunda posición. 3 NO USE el asiento para niños más allá de la posición reclinada 2 .
Cómo sujetar el asiento para niños al asiento del vehículo ADVERTENCIA: Use solamente el sistema de cinturón para la falda y el hombro del vehículo cuando sujeta a su niño en este asiento para niños. Los conectores AFFIXTM son SOLAMENTE para sujetar el asiento para niños al asiento del vehículo. Cuando usando los conectores AFFIXTM, NO ponga el asiento para niños descentrado con respecto a los anclajes del vehículo.
1. Oprima el botón de adelante del asiento 1 y tire los conectores hacia afuera desde atrás del asiento para niños 2 . 1 2. Sujete los conectores a los anclajes inferiores del vehículo 3 . 3 Tire firmemente de los conectores 4 para asegurarse de que estén enganchados. NUNCA ponga dos conectores en un anclaje del vehículo 5.

Para sacar el asiento para niños, empuje el botón de liberación hacia arriba en la parte de adelante del asiento para niños 7 y tírelo apenas hacia afuera del asiento. 7 5. Empuje el conector 8 hacia dentro 8 , levante el conector y tire hacia afuera (en el sentido opuesto al punto de anclaje) 9 . Repita el procedimiento en el otro conector.
Sujetar a su niño en el vehículo 1. Coloque el asiento para niños firmemente contra el respaldo de un asiento del vehículo orientado hacia delante solamente con un cinturón de regazo / hombro 1 . 2. Siente a su niño en el asiento para niños con su espalda plana contra el respaldo del asiento para niños.
3. Pase el cinturón de hombro por el soporte del cinturón de hombro como se indica en 2 , NO como se indica en 3 . Abroche la hebilla y jale el cinturón de hombro hacia arriba para ajustarlo.
4. Para asegurar que 4 obtiene la altura correcta para apoyar la cabeza, la parte de abajo del apoyacabeza DEBE estar parejo con la parte de arriba de los hombros del niño como se indica en 4 y el cinturón de hombro debe estar 5 colocado en la zona roja como se indica en 5 . El cinturon de regazo DEBE pasar debajo del apoyabrazos y queda en la parte inferior de las caderas del niño.
5. Si el cinturón pasa a través del cuello, la cabeza o la cara del niño 6 , vuelva a ajustar la altura del apoyacabezas. Cumpla las instrucciones en la página 34, “Ajustar el apoyacabezas”.
Ajustar el apoyacabezas ANTES de ajustar la altura del apoyacabezas, incline a su niño un poco hacia delante. Apriete el botón rojo de ajuste en la parte superior del asiento y jale el apoyacabezas hacia arriba hasta que encaje en una de las 6 posiciones de altura. Para bajarlo, apriete el botón rojo de ajuste y empújelo hacia abajo. VERIFIQUE que quede bien encajado en una de las 6 posiciones de altura, jalando el apoyacabezas.
Desmontar el respaldo (en ciertos modelos) para usarlo como asiento para niños sin respaldo Para usar la asiento para niños sin respaldo: Desmonte el respaldo como se indica. Los ganchos en forma de "U" en el fondo del respaldo están entrelazados con las barras de la base. Desmonte el respaldo de la base.
Sujetar a su niño en el vehículo con el clip de colocación del cinturón de hombro El cinturón de hombro DEBE pasar por encima de los hombros del niño en la zona roja como se indica. Si el cinturón de hombro queda fuera de esta zona, se DEBE usar el clip de colocación del cinturón de hombro. Para conectar el clip al asiento para niños: 1. La traba de posicionamiento del cinturón del hombro DEBE estar sujetada a la barra horizontal en el centro de la base.
2. Pase el clip y la correa por el extremo con el bucle como se indica en 2 y jale la correa hacia arriba 3 . NOTA: El extremo libre de la correa debe quedar orientado hacia la parte delantera del asiento.
3. Deslice el cinturón de hombro del vehículo en el clip como se indica en 4 y jale la correa hacia abajo para ajustar el clip contra el hombro del niño. El cinturon de regazo DEBE pasar debajo del apoyabrazos y queda en la parte inferior de las caderas del niño. El cinturoñ NO DEBE estar doblado.

Información adicional Uso en aviones Este asiento de seguridad no está certificado para su utilización en aviones, ya que éstos no disponen de cinturones de hombros. Apoyavasos y compartimiento de almacenamiento El apoyavasos y compartimiento de almacenamiento se incluyen en los costados del asiento.
Almacenaje de la hoja de instrucciones Se puede guardar su hoja de instrucciones en el fondo del asiento como se indica. Cuidado y mantenimiento EL USO CONTINUO DEL ASIENTO PARA NIÑOS PODRÁ CAUSAR DAÑOS AL ASIENTO DEL VEHÍCULO. Use una almohadilla para asientos para niños, una toalla o una manta fina para proteger el tapizado. PIEZAS METÁLICAS Y DE PLÁSTICO: Límpielas con un jabón suave y agua fría. NO USE CLORO ni detergentes.
Para quitar la funda del asiento 1. Quite los bucles elásticos y los ganchos del asiento, como se indica 1 . 1 2. Lave la funda en agua fría en el ciclo delicado y déjela secar al aire. NO USE CLORO. 3. Para volver a colocar la funda, siga las instrucciones anteriores en orden inverso.
