The model number and date of manufacture can be found on a label underneath your booster seat. Fill out the prepaid registration postcard attached to the seat coYer and mail it today. Child restraints could be recalled for safety reasons. You must register this restraint to be reached in a recall.
NEVER PLACE THIS BOOSTER SEAT IN A VEHICLE SEATING LOCATION THAT HAS AN AIR BAG. If an air bag inflates, it can hit the child and booster seat with great force and cause serious injury or death to your child. According to accident statistics, CHILDREN ARE SAFER WHEN PROPERLY RESTRAINED IN REAR VEHICLE SEATING POSITIONS, RATHER THAN FRONT SEATING POSITIONS. For a Yehicle with a front passenger air bag, refer to your Yehicle owner¶s manual as well as these instructions for booster seat installation. NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED. NEVER LEAVE A BOOSTER SEAT UNSECURED IN YOUR VEHICLE. An unsecured booster seat can be thrown around and may injure occupants in a sharp turn, sudden stop or crash.
THE BOOSTER SEAT CAN BECOME VERY HOT IF LEFT IN THE SUN. Contact with these parts can burn your child¶s skin. Always touch the surface of any metal or plastic parts before putting your child in the booster seat. THIS CHILD RESTRAINT CONFORMS to all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and is certified for use in motor Yehicles. This restraint is NOT certified for use in aircraft because there is no shoulder belt aYailable.
Assembling the Booster Seat Step 1. 1 Insert armrest into base as shown until buttons snap into slots on side of base 1 . SNAP! Step 2. Select the desired armrest height for your child, then insert the height adjustment screw 2 and tighten. Repeat for other armrest. 2 Step 3. To adjust armrests, remoYe screw and press 3 in button on side of base as shown to raise or lower 3 . Reinsert screw and tighten. CHECK to make sure armrests are securely attached by pulling up on them.
Seat Pad (sold separately) Step 4. Lay seat pad face down and flip up end of pad with clips. Insert 3 tabs from plastic clip into seat as shown 4 . Step 5. 4 5 Wrap seat pad oYer on top of base 5 . 6 Step 6. Attach elastic to hooks to bottom of base 6 .
Step 7. Slip armrest coYers (on certain models) onto armrests as shown. Step 8. Your Graco booster seat is now ready to use. See page 22, “Securing Child in Vehicle with Shoulder Belt Positioning Clip”.
Weight and Height Limits FAILURE TO USE booster seat in a manner appropriate for your child¶s size may increase the risk of serious injury or death. To use this Graco booster seat, your child MUST meet ALL of the following requirements: approximately 4 to 10 years old weigh between 40 and 100 lbs.
Vehicle Seat Location Requirements IMPROPER PLACEMENT OF THE BOOSTER SEAT INCREASES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. Some seating positions in your Yehicle may NOT be safe for this booster seat. Some Yehicles do not haYe any seating positions that can be used safely with the booster seat. If you are not sure where to place the booster seat in your Yehicle, consult your Yehicle owner¶s manual or call Graco Children's Products Inc., at 1-800-345-4109.
Vehicle Seat Belt Requirements MANY SEAT BELT SYSTEMS ARE NOT SAFE TO USE WITH THE BOOSTER SEAT. Pay careful attention to these systems; some of the seat belts that are NOT safe to use look Yery much like seat belts that are safe to use. If you are unsure, consult your Yehicle owner¶s manual or call Graco Children's Products Inc., at 1-800-345-4109.
UNSAFE Vehicle Seat Belt Systems DO NOT USE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING VEHICLE BELT SYSTEMS. NEVER use a lap-only belt. NEVER use a Passive Restraint Lap or Shoulder Belt Mounted on Door NEVER use a Passive Restraint Lap Belt with Motorized Shoulder Belt NEVER use Yehicle belts that are attached to the door in any way or that moYe along a track to automatically surround the passenger when the door is closed.
Using your Graco Booster Seat FAILURE TO PROPERLY SECURE YOUR CHILD AND THE BOOSTER SEAT IN YOUR VEHICLE INCREASES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH IN THE EVENT OF A SHARP TURN, SUDDEN STOP OR CRASH. WARNING: Use only 1 the Yehicle¶s lap and shoulder belt system when restraining the child in this booster seat 1 . 2 NEVER use a Yehicle lap-only belt across front of child 2 .
3 Vehicle belts MUST lie flat against child and MUST not be twisted. DO NOT use shoulder belt loose or positioned under child¶s arm 3 . DO NOT position Yehicle 4 belt oYer top of the armrests 4 . It must pass underneath the armrests. Make sure vehicle belt is NOT twisted. Lap portion of lap/shoulder belt MUST be low and snug on hips, just touching thighs. DO NOT allow child to slide down in booster seat 5 . 5 If child will not keep Yehicle restraint properly positioned, DO NOT use this booster seat.
The front of booster seat MUST NOT hang oYer front of Yehicle seat 6 . 6 The back of the booster seat MUST fit tight against the Yehicle seat back as shown 7 .
Securing Your Child in Vehicle 1. Place booster seat firmly against the back of a forward-facing Yehicle seat equipped with a lap/ shoulder belt only 1 . 2. HaYe your child sit in booster seat with their back flat against back of Yehicle seat.
3. The lap belt portion MUST pass under the armrests and be positioned low on the hips. 2 2 4. The shoulder belt MUST lie across child¶s shoulders in red zone as shown 3 . If shoulder belt lies outside this zone, the shoulder belt positioning clip MUST be used.
Securing Child in Vehicle with Shoulder Belt Positioning Clip To attach clip to booster seat: 1. The shoulder belt positioning clip MUST be attached onto the horizontal bar in the center of the base. Insert the loop end of strap around horizontal bar on rear of seat as shown in 1 .
2. Pass the clip and strap through the loop end as shown in 2 and pull strap up 3 . NOTE: Free end of strap should face front of seat.
3. Slide the Yehicle shoulder belt onto the clip as shown in 4 and pull strap down to tighten clip against child¶s shoulder. The lap belt portion MUST pass under the armrests and be positioned low on the hips. The belt MUST NOT be twisted.

Additional Information Airplane Use This restraint is not certified for aircraft use because there are no shoulder belts aYailable in an aircraft. Cupholders Cupholders are included on both sides of the seat. Care and Maintenance CONTINUOUS USE OF BOOSTER SEAT MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO VEHICLE SEAT. Use a booster seat mat, towel or thin blanket to protect upholstery. METAL AND PLASTIC PARTS: clean with mild soap and cool water. No bleach or detergents.
To Remove Seat Pad 1. RemoYe elastic loops and hooks from seat as shown 1 . 1 There is a plastic clip 2 in the front of the seat pad on the base that will need to be remoYed before washing. 2 2. Machine wash coYer in cold water on delicate cycle and drip-dry. DO NOT USE BLEACH. 3. To put the seat coYer back on, reYerse preceding instructions.

Montar del asiento para niños Paso 1. 1 Inserte el apoyabrazos en la base como se indica hasta que los botones se traben en las ranuras de la base lateral 1 . ¡CLIC! Paso 2. Seleccione la altura deseada del apoyabrazos para su niño, luego inserte el tornillo de ajuste de la 2 altura 2 y ajústelo. Repita el procedimiento en el otro apoyabrazos. Paso 3. Para ajustar el apoyabrazos, saque los tornillos y oprima el botón en el costado de la base como se indica para subirlo o bajarlo .
Almohadilla del asiento (se vende por separado) Paso 4. Ponga la almohadilla del asiento mirando hacia abajo y doble hacia arriba el costado de la almohadilla con las presillas. Ponga las 3 lengüetas de la presilla de plástico en el asiento como se indica 4 . Paso 5. 4 5 Pase la almohadilla del asiento por arriba de la base 5 . 6 Paso 6. Sujete el elástico a los ganchos de abajo de la base 6 .

Usar su asiento para niños de Graco NO SUJETAR CORRECTAMENTE A SU NIÑO Y EL ASIENTO PARA NIÑOS EN SU VEHÍCULO AUMENTA EL RIESGO DE LESIONES GRAVES O LA MUERTE EN CASO DE UN GIRO BRUSCO, UNA PARADA REPENTINA O UN ACCIDENTE. ADVERTENCIA: Use solamente el sistema de cinturones de regazo y hombro del vehículo al sujetar al niño en este asiento para niños 1 . 1 2 NUNCA use un cinturón de regazo solamente para sujetar a su niño 2 .
3 Los cinturones del vehículo DEBEN quedar planos encima del niño y NO DEBEN quedar torcidos. NO use el cinturón de los hombros suelto debajo del brazo del niño 3 . 4 NO coloque el cinturón del vehículo por encima de los apoyabrazos 4 . Debe pasar por debajo de los apoyabrazos. Asegúrese que el cinturón de seguridad del vehículo NO está doblado. La parte de regazo del cinturón de regazo / hombro DEBE quedar bien ajustada en la parte inferior de las caderas, tocando los muslos.
5 NO permita que el niño se deslice hacia abajo en el asiento para niños 5 . Si el niño no mantiene la posición correcta del cinturón de seguridad del vehículo, NO use este asiento para niños. Use otro sistema de seguridad infantil. La parte delantera del asiento para niños NO 6 DEBE colgar por la parte delantera del asiento del vehículo 6 . Sujetar a su niño en el vehículo 1. Coloque el asiento para niños firmemente contra el respaldo de un asiento del vehículo orientado hacia delante solamente con un cinturón de regazo / hombro 1 . 2. Haga que su niño se siente en el asiento con la espalda plana contra el respaldo del asiento del vehículo.
3. El cinturon de regazo DEBE pasar debajo del apoyabrazos y queda en la parte inferior de las caderas del niño. 2 4. El cinturón de hombro DEBE pasar por encima de los hombros del niño en la zona roja como se indica. 3 Si el cinturón de hombro queda fuera de esta zona, se DEBE usar el clip de colocación del cinturón de hombro.

Inserte el extremo con el bucle de la correa alrededor de la barra horizontal en la parte trasera del asiento como se indica en 1 .
2. Pase el clip y la correa por el extremo con el bucle como se indica en 2 y jale la correa hacia arriba 3 . NOTA: El extremo libre de la correa debe quedar orientado hacia la parte delantera del asiento.
3. Deslice el cinturón de hombro del vehículo en el clip como se indica en 4 y jale la correa hacia abajo para ajustar el clip contra el hombro del niño. El cinturon de regazo DEBE pasar debajo del apoyabrazos y queda en la parte inferior de las caderas del niño. El cinturoñ NO DEBE estar doblado.

Información adicional Uso en aviones Este asiento de seguridad no está certificado para su utilización en aviones, ya que éstos no disponen de cinturones de hombros. Apoyavasos Los apoyavasos se incluyen en ambos costados del asiento. Cuidado y mantenimiento EL USO CONTINUO DEL ASIENTO PARA NIÑOS PODRÁ CAUSAR DAÑOS AL ASIENTO DEL VEHÍCULO. Use una almohadilla para asientos para niños, una toalla o una manta fina para proteger el tapizado.
Para quitar la almohadilla del asiento 1. Quite los bucles elásticos y los ganchos del asiento, como se indica 1 . 1 Hay un clip de plástico 2 en la parte delantera de la almohadilla del asiento que hay que quitar antes del lavado. 2 2. Lave la funda en agua fría en el ciclo delicado y déjela secar al aire. NO USE BLANQUEADOR. 3. Para volver a colocar la funda, siga las instrucciones anteriores en orden inverso.
