1.Haveaqualiedelectricianchecktheelectrical
groundingcontinuityofthespraygunandair
hose.
2.TurnOFF(O)theESOn-Offswitch.
3.Turnofftheairanduidsupplytothegun.Follow
thePressureReliefProcedure,page31.The
uidhosemustnothaveanyuidinit.
4.Disconnecttheuidhose.
5.Makesurethered-coloredgroundedairhose
(AH)isconnectedandthehosegroundwireis
connectedtoatrueearthground.
6.Measuretheresistancebetweenthegunhandle
(BB)andatrueearthground(CC).Usean
appliedvoltageof500minimumto1000volts
maximum.Theresistanceshouldnotexceed
100ohms.SeeFig.22.
7.Iftheresistanceisgreaterthan100ohms,check
thetightnessofthegroundconnectionsandbe
suretheairhosegroundwireisconnectedtoa
trueearthground.Iftheresistanceisstilltoo
high,replacetheairhose.
