3.Recordtheuidtype,elapsedtime,andsizeof
theviscositycup.
4.Iftheviscosityistoohighortoolow,contactthe
materialsupplier.Adjustasnecessary.

•Sizethenozzleproperlytoreduceuidpressure
below30psi(0.21MPa,2.1bar),producingan
8–12in.(200–300mm)uidstream.
•Operatethegunwiththeuidadjustmentknobin
thefullowpositionatalltimes.Useanexternal
uidregulator,nottheuidadjustmentknob,toset
theuidpressure.
•Usetheminimumatomizingandfanairpressures
possibletoachieveagoodpattern.
•Followallproceduresunder
CleantheGunDaily,page29.
•Inspecttheelectrodedailyandreplaceifdamaged.
