5. Make Sure the Stability Foot Fully Rests on the
Vehicle Seat
6. Route the Vehicle Seat Belt
Thread vehicle seat belt across the belt path through both
openings (marked with a blue label) and buckle it. The seat
belt should lay as flat as possible and not be twisted.
7. Tighten the Vehicle Seat Belt
Press down firmly on the front of the car seat. Pull on the
shoulder belt to tighten while feeding the slack back in the
retractor.
8. Slide the Shoulder Belt into the Rear-Facing Lockoff
While holding tension on the shoulder belt, slide the shoulder
belt ONLY into the rear-facing lockoff. ALWAYS use the lockoff
on the side OPPOSITE of the buckle.
Make sure the shoulder belt is past the notch and fully inside
the lockoff.
