3. Place Car Seat Rear-Facing in
Back Seat of the Vehicle
Place rear-facing in vehicle seat. The
base should sit as flat as possible on the
vehicle seat.
4. Make Sure Base is a minimum of
80% on Vehicle Seat.
5. To Keep Your Child Rear Facing
Longer
For additional leg room squeeze the
adjustment handle and pull the extender
out. The extender has 4 positions. For
children over 40 lb (18 kg), use position
2, 3 or 4.
6. Check the Level Indicator
Vehicle MUST be on level ground. Ball
must be completely in the blue zone.
Readjust if needed.
For infants 3 months and under, the ball
must completely cover the light blue
circle.
If needed, rolled towels may be placed
under the car seat at the vehicle seat
crease, until the ball is completely in the
blue zone.
