How to Get The Finish You Want
 HELPFUL HINTS:
• Fine patterns such as orange
peel require thin material, small
nozzles and a higher volume of air
• Heavy and large pattern such
as knockdown require thicker
material, med to large nozzles
and less air volume
• Point gun away from
surface you are
spraying when you
fi rst pull trigger
• Keep gun moving
• Remember, the larger
the Nozzle, the heavier
the pattern
• Hold gun 18 to 24 in.
from surface. Use this
spraying distance for
most applications
*  To use standard nozzle
replace WideTex kit with
chrome nozzle ring that
comes with gun
All premix Material must be thinned to spray. Use the Material Gauge
Ball to help determine if material is thin enough for the sprayer to pump
1. Slowly add 2 to 4 qt. of water to
a 5 gallon bucket of premix material
2. Test material thickness, gently set
(dry/clean) Material Gauge Ball on
surface of mixed thinned material
3. Material Gauge Ball should sink completely
below surface in 10 seconds or less to
ensure material is adequately thinned
4. If ball does not sink below surface,
thin material and retest with (dry/clean)
