Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents, rough sponges or knives to clean
the device. These could damage the surface.
1. Make sure that the device has completely cooled down and is switched off.
2. Carefully remove any crumbs and residues from the baking surfaces. Use a soft
brush to do this if necessary.
3. Clean the baking surfaces of the device with a soft, damp cloth/sponge and, if nec-
essary, a little detergent. Then dry the device with a soft tea towel.
4. Never wind the cable tightly around the device when you put it away. Push it into the
cable mounts on the bottom of the device.
5. Store the device out of the reach of children and animals. Keep it in a dry place
which is protected from direct sunlight.
Recipe for waf es
Enough for about 30 waf es
Ingredients:
125 g Soft butter or margarine
250 g Flour
100 g Sugar
2 tsp Baking powder
200 ml Milk
3 Eggs
Any icing sugar you may need
Preparation:
1. Beat the eggs and the sugar into a froth with a whisk.
2. Fold in the butter.
3. Add the our, the baking powder and the milk and stir all the ingredients together
with a whisk to produce a smooth mixture.
4. Use a tablespoon to spoon the mixture into the moulds of the preheated waf e
maker. Do not add more than one tablespoonful per mould so that the mixture has
room to rise.
5. Allow waf es to bake for approx. 3-5 minutes.
6. Carefully remove the waf es and sprinkle icing sugar on them if you wish.
