Never operate the device without lling it. The blending container must be lled with
liquid at least up to the lower container mark (0.2 L or 10 FL. OZ). The grinding
adapter should at least be lled with food to 1/3.
Do not over ll the container. The blending container may be lled to no more than up
to the 1.6 litres (55 FL.OZ) mark. The grinding adapter may be lled to no more than
slightly below the container edge.
Never ll the device with boiling hot food or liquids! The content must not be warmer
than 50 °C.
Always keep the lid of the blending container closed during preparation. You can
remove the insert in the centre of the lid to add ingredients during operation.
Use the device continuously for no more than 1 minute without stopping. Then allow
it to cool off for 3 minutes before continuing.
1. Place the motor unit (4) on a dry, level and solid base. Press down the suction feet (6)
on the base.
2. Choose a suitable blending container: choose the large blending container for blend-
ing milk shakes, fruit and vegetables juices or choose the grinding adapter for grind-
ing and mincing herbs, nuts etc.

3. Mount the blending container (2) on the motor unit (4) as
shown. The spout (7) on the container must be located on
the same side as the rotary switch (5).
4. Tighten the blending container (2) by turning it clockwise.
Make sure that the arrow mark is aligned with the 0 mark
on the motor unit after the container has locked into place
(also see chapter “Safety mechanisms”).
5. Turn the lid (1) counter-clockwise and take it off of the blending container (2).
6. Add the desired ingredients to the blending container (2).
7. Close the lid (1) again. To do so, place the “catch” (A) on
the lid next to the spout (7) as shown and tighten the lid by
turning it clockwise.
8. Make sure that the rotary switch (5) is set to the 0 position. Then insert the mains plug
in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible.
